Cairo gives you the Giza plateau at dawn, the Grand Egyptian Museum with a VIP Egyptologist, and Old Cairo's layered Coptic history. Four nights on a five-star Nile cruise ship, full board, carry you from Aswan south to Abu Simbel and north through Kom Ombo and Edfu to Luxor. Alexandria adds two days of Mediterranean grandeur: the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, the Citadel of Qaitbay and the finest seafood corniche in North Africa. A day through Christian and Islamic Cairo: the Hanging Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue of Coptic Cairo, the Citadel of Saladin and the alabaster Mosque of Muhammad Ali, ending among the lantern-lit lanes of the Khan el-Khalili bazaar.
A full private day on the Mediterranean coast. You visit the modern Bibliotheca Alexandrina, descend into the Catacombs of Kom el-Shoqafa, walk the Roman Amphitheatre and the seafront to the Citadel of Qaitbay, returning to Cairo in the evening.
A morning flight brings you to Aswan, where you visit the island Temple of Philae, the High Dam and the Unfinished Obelisk before boarding your five-star cruise ship, with full board beginning on the river.
You fly south to Abu Simbel to stand before the four colossal statues of Ramesses II and the graceful temple of Nefertari, rescued and relocated above Lake Nasser. Returning to Aswan, the afternoon closes with a sunset felucca sail around the islands.
A relaxed day of sailing. You visit the dual temple of Kom Ombo, shared between the gods Sobek and Horus, and its crocodile museum, watching the riverbank life drift past from the sun deck as the ship continues north.
At Edfu you visit the Temple of Horus, the best-preserved temple in Egypt, reached by horse-drawn carriage. The ship then sails on to Luxor through the afternoon, mooring beneath the temple city for the night.
A dawn hot-air balloon opens the day over the Theban necropolis. You then explore the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon, before disembarking to your five-star Luxor hotel.
The great temples of the East Bank. You spend the morning in the vast hypostyle halls of Karnak and visit Luxor Temple, with the afternoon free to relax at your hotel or explore Luxor's markets at leisure.
A short transfer brings you across to the Red Sea coast and Hurghada, where you check into a five-star all-inclusive beach resort. The rest of the day is yours to unwind by the sea after the temples and the river.
A full day on the Red Sea. Enjoy the resort's beach and pools, or join an optional boat trip to snorkel the offshore reefs. An easy, indulgent day before the journey home begins.
A final morning by the Red Sea before a short flight back to Cairo, where you are met and transferred to your hotel for your last night in Egypt, with the evening free for a farewell dinner or last-minute shopping.
After breakfast and any final free time, a private transfer takes you to Cairo International Airport for your flight home, closing a journey through the whole of Egypt.

Yes. The flight (approximately 45 minutes each way from Aswan) is included in the tour. It is a comfortable alternative to the long road convoy of around 3 hours each way and allows exclusive access at sunrise before other tours arrive.
After flying from Luxor to Cairo, you continue to Hurghada (30-min flight). The two nights at a five-star all-inclusive resort are designed as a complete decompression after the busy touring schedule. All meals and non-motorised watersports are included. Diving and excursions are optional add-ons.
Alexandria is one of Egypt's most underrated experiences. The Bibliotheca Alexandrina is an architecturally stunning modern library on the site of the ancient Library of Alexandria. The corniche seafood restaurants are exceptional. Qaitbay Citadel sits on the exact site of the ancient Pharos lighthouse. We recommend two nights here, not one.
Yes. Common extensions are: 3 extra days for Petra and Wadi Rum in Jordan (making 15 days), 2–3 days for Siwa Oasis, or an extension of the Hurghada stay for diving certification. We can build any combination.
